Mission: To help break down the barriers of girls in sport by building a court in Nigeria!
Description: Although being raised in Houston, Texas, I have always had a strong connection with Nigeria. As first generation Nigerian-Americans, my parents stressed an importance in realizing how blessed we are to be living the lives we live, pursing our dreams in the United States. Today, I am living out my dreams, playing basketball on scholarship at Stanford University, one of the best schools in the world! Basketball has made that possible for me. My goal is to share the beauties of sport (teamwork, perseverance, fitness) and the opportunities it can present. But most importantly, we can work together to inspire and empower girls to follow their dreams too!
