An Evening with A2S: A Deliciously Fun Chefs Event
An Evening with A2S, our signature fundraiser, will take place on Thursday, October 13 at Langtree Plantation in Mooresville.
This year’s event is a chef event, where guests will enjoy dishes provided by Joe Kindred of Kindred Restaurant (Davidson, N.C.), Cody Suddreth of The King’s Kitchen and Bakery (Charlotte, N.C.) and Geoff Schneider of The Peddler Steakhouse (Greenville, S.C.) while sipping drinks from Wicked Weed Brewing and D9 Brewing Company.
Fourth Creek Band, a six-piece James Taylor cover band, will provide the live music, as guests bid on silent auction items, visit with the Davidson College men’s basketball team, pose with friends in the Smile Laugh Share photo booth or the explore interactive stations that will bring A2S programs to life. Davidson head men’s basketball coach Bob McKillop will close out the free-flowing, fun evening as the auctioneer of the live auction.
“We are excited about An Evening with A2S because it gives us a unique opportunity to celebrate our work, share our stories, express our gratitude and cast a vision for the future with many who support our work,” A2S President Andrew Lovedale said. “We look forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones and developing relationships that will last a long time as we bond through service in a fun and engaging way.”
