FaithFuel 2024 Year Wrap Up

As we close out 2024, we checked back in with those featured in this year’s FaithFuel stories to see how they are doing. Read on to learn their testimonies for the year!

Our year has been full of blessings at A2S. We are so grateful for these bright young minds and faithful volunteers who have grown with us as we transition into a new year. Thank YOU, our FaithFuel community, for journeying with us in prayer and in giving so that we can continue God’s work here in Nigeria.

As we look towards 2025, we want to make room for the next generation of students such as Judith, Wesley, Kosi, Bela, Favour, David and Chidinma, scholars such as Godstime and Osamede, and volunteers of all kinds like Cicilia and Blessing. Please consider making a gift to serve these students and scholars as we aim to set apart a new generation of godly stewards to come.

I am thankful to God for keeping me alive and for sustaining my family. He helped my parent provide for me and my siblings.

February: Kosi (After school Academy Kid)

I am thankful for the extra lessons and knowledge passed to me by my teachers at the After School Academy. I am also thankful for the visitation I had from A2S this year.

March: Blessing (Teaching Volunteer)

I thank God for a successful delivery of my baby boy and the provision God made available for me through my amazing and wonderful family at A2S. May all glory and honour be unto Him.

April: Osamede (A2S Scholar)

I am thankful for God’s protection over me and my family.

May: David (After School Academy Kid)

I am thankful to God for good health and for the life of my family.

June: Chidinma (after school academy kid)

I am thankful to God for giving my mum money this year. She bought me and my siblings a lot of things.

july: Judith (after school academy kid)

I am thankful to God for the miraculous healing of my mum, who was sick and was scheduled for an operation, but she was made whole before the day of the operation, and she didn’t have to go through it. I am also thankful for the help of God when I was writing my WAEC. I passed with flying colours.

August: Bela (After School Academy kid)

I am grateful to God for keeping my family and I together and complete until this day.

September: Cicilia (non-teaching volunteer)

I am grateful to God for the life of everybody around me, and I am thankful and filled with joy because God also used the founder to help me and my children. I am very happy.

October: godstime (A2s Scholar)

I am thanking God for life because without life, there would be no fulfillment and no platform to express purpose. I thank God Almighty for always coming through for me and my family in all seasons. He has always been there. And I also thank God for surrounding me with people that have helped change my life and helped me in discovering who I am. A2S is one of these people. Thank you, Andrew Lovedale, for accepting this life-changing vision which has also helped me and many others. I love you all, A2S. All glory be to Jesus…

This year I achieved one of my dreams; I have always desired to sew a hoodie, and God made it possible for me. I did it with the help of God. I am thankful to God for it. I am also thankful for not losing any of my family members.
