Laura Knight
Development Manager
Fun Fact: Once slept in a cabin that fell into a river the next day.
A2S was beginning to grow when I was learning about community development and nonprofit work at UNC Chapel Hill. I often looked at A2S as an example for how to build successful programs. I was very curious about how nonprofits could consistently fund their programs with donations, so I gave Andrew a call. As he graciously answered my questions and I heard his personal story again, I knew in my heart that A2S was the place for me. I immediately applied for an internship and joined the team in the summer of 2017. I made my first trip to Nigeria in 2018, spending nearly 3 weeks falling in love with Benin City, the A2S staff, and all of our kiddos.
I graduated from UNC in 2018 with a BA in psychology and global studies. I spent a few years as a teacher and researcher before I was called back to A2S full-time in 2021. Years ago when I asked about how nonprofits get their funds, I never thought that I would be responsible for achieving those goals four short years later. I love getting to know the generous A2S community, building new and fostering old relationships, and collaborating with everyone — donors, volunteers, staff, and beneficiaries — to create a new future in Nigeria.

I am honored to serve as the Mission Program Coordinator for Access to Success. I have been a part of the A2S family for over a decade, beginning in 2014 when I attended the Basketball and Empowerment Camp in Nigeria. A2S has been an integral part of my life, and I am a testament to the transformative power of education and opportunity. It is through A2S that I have found the perfect platform to make a meaningful impact.
Over the years, I have transitioned into various roles within the organization. As an A2S scholar in the U.S., I experienced firsthand the value of education and its impact on one’s life. 2017 and 2019, I served as an intern, and in 2021, I worked part-time. In 2023, I was blessed to become a full-time staff member as the Missions Program Coordinator.
As the Mission Program Coordinator, I oversee and organize our various outreach programs and vision trips(mission trips). I am also responsible for our U.S. scholars and Human Resources department. I am passionate about serving others and sharing the love of Christ with those we serve.
My work is guided by Matthew 25:40, which says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” This verse reminds me that our work is not just about providing physical assistance but also about serving Christ and treating every person with dignity and respect. Whether it’s organizing a vision trip, working with scholars and staff to raise Godly Stewards/leaders, or partnering with other organizations and churches to provide resources, I am dedicated to serving others and living out the call of Christ to love our neighbors as ourselves.
I am honored to serve as the Mission Program Coordinator for A2S and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
Aaron Marsh
Communications Manager
Fun Fact: Spent 28 days backpacking in the Wind River mountain range, once getting so lost he thought it might be game over!
As the Communications Manager, I have the honor of combining my love of visual and written storytelling to amplify A2S’s mission of providing Nigerian children with a dignified path to success. A2S bridges the gaps in so many complicated ways, and it’s my job to take in the sum total of what we do in Nigeria and make it easy to understand for our U.S. audience of volunteers, donors, host families, and more. With my background in graphic design and theatre, I bring a unique flavor of storytelling and creativity to my role. I’m grateful to put it to use for such a transformative cause, and I am dedicated to utilizing the power of effective communication to encourage people to support the programs that will create a brighter future for every child in Nigeria.

Community Resource Coordinator
Fun Fact: I once sang the National Anthem at a NY Islanders hockey game
As the Community Resource Coordinator at Access to Success, I work with our volunteers and donors to find creative, engaging, and fun ways to share the A2S story while helping to raise the resources we need to support our programming in Nigeria. I bring a wealth of experience in fundraising and event management from my time working at Davidson College. This knowledge, combined with my strong Christian faith and desire to serve others in Jesus’ name, is impactful in fostering the mission of A2S. I graduated from Davidson College in 2008 and live locally with my husband and three children. I’m thankful to be a part of A2S and the transformative work that is being done in Nigeria.
Andrew Lovedale
Founder
Fun Fact: I once thought I was driving an A2S Scholar to Winthrop University and instead found myself at Wingate University (50 miles way)
My first child, Osas – came into the world – six weeks early – in the United States while I was on the mission field in Nigeria leading an empowerment session. My second child, Ese, was born during March Madness in 2019, while the NCAA College Men’s Basketball Sweet 16 Tournament Game between Texas and Michigan was on TV. My wife, Molly and I met at Davidson College in 2007 in the library and have been doing life together since then. I lost my father at a young age and watched strength and grace in full display as my mother defied our realities to give us hope. I am a collection of the experiences of my journey – one in which I have asked God WHY many times both from a place of need and that of gratitude. Each day, I find answers, not in my accomplishments or acquisitions, but in the lessons from my journey, the joys felt by those we serve, and a growing community of people who form this beautiful web of borderless love.
By God’s grace, I have the unique opportunity at Access To Success to invite strangers to become friends. To encourage people to think about their impact beyond self, boundaries, and borders. And to trust in the Lord’s guidance, listening to the people’s needs, and working with our special leadership and teams, to inspire a dignified path to success where those we serve are empowered to live out God’s plan of a future filled with hope.

Grace Aisagbonzehi
Youth Center Administrative Assistant
Fun Fact: I smile even in the midst of a storm.
Hi, I’m Grace, and I started my journey with A2S as a teaching volunteer in 2017. I joined the staff in 2021 as the Youth Center Administrative Assistant. I am adaptable, have a high attention to detail, and know how to manage my time to accomplish the variety of tasks that come at me throughout the day. I support the administrative needs of our entire staff and connect with our volunteers to maintain our facilities so our kids have a clean environment to learn. I also get to engage with our children at the creche. This experience has been much more than a job — it feels like God gave me an opportunity to work in his ministry every day, serving these kids and their community.
Precious Aigbe

Fun Fact: I had two dogs when I was growing up.
My name is Precious, and I’m the A2S Accountant. I deal with all the “money stuff,” reconciling purchases and receipts, ensuring proper expense documentation, and creating financial statements and reports. I want to make sure we have clear records of how we are spending our resources and ensure we are good stewards of our resources. I’m a problem solver, critical thinker, and a team player.

Fun Fact: I’m a better football (soccer) player than a basketball player.
Hey, I’m Ehiz, and I was the first full-time staff member for A2S back in 2013. I volunteered with the basketball camps and helped out in other ways before joining the team. I’ve served in many different capacities and currently play a lead role in implementing the vision for community engagement. I am strong under pressure, self-motivated and have learned to be a better decision maker and strategic planner over the years.

I’m Oduwa, the A2S Creative Coordinator. I became part of the A2S family through my connection to Pastor Ben and Gospel Life Bible Church International (the first physical home of A2S programs). I started as a volunteer before becoming a staff member in 2015. I spend my days bringing our kids creativity to life and developing arts initiatives that align with the A2S mission. I’m a storyteller and a strong communicator and love to engage with the children and our entire community.
Olorunfunmi Ogunje
Entrepreneur Empowerment Program Manager
Fun Fact: I was a supporting character in an on-stage theatrical performance, the best chief of a clan that the audience ever saw!
My name is Funmi, and I currently serve as the Entrepreneur Empowerment Program Manager. I spent three years as an A2S volunteer before transitioning into a full-time role in 2016. God has blessed me with an abundance of patience and strong active listening skills, and even in high-pressure situations, I maintain a calm demeanor to get the job done.
I am tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of our Entrepreneur Empowerment Program. I actively engage with entrepreneurs, mentors, Hub users, After School Academy kids, and A2S scholars. I make sure they know about and can take advantage of all the opportunities we have to offer.
I pursued a degree in Business Administration from Benson Idahosa University. When I’m not working, I love to play basketball and spend quality time with my family.

Hey, I’m Glory, and my A2S story started as a university scholar. Following graduation, I had a hard time getting a well-paying job. I was thrilled when this opportunity as the A2S Associate Librarian opened up — I’m so grateful to be part of our kids’ stories each day. I have a passion for learning and want to inspire that in our children. I create fun, brain-teasing exercises to enhance our students’ critical thinking and active listening skills. I enjoy guiding our kids based on their individual needs and capabilities.
Michelle Etumonuwa
Head of Library
Fun Fact: I use humor and my playful personality to turn the most ordinary tasks into something memorable and fun.
I’m Michelle, Head of Library at A2S. I remember the call I received from the A2S National Director informing me of this role with the organization. I interviewed and learned more, quickly becoming aware that this was not just a job, but a calling from God. I declined all other opportunities and chose God’s purpose for my life.
I deal directly with our students, ensuring they can access the right resources within the library. I organize exercises and programs to help our kids develop a long-term commitment to reading. I support those kids who have reading and public speaking challenges by creating platforms for them to engage and interact. I love the opportunity to get creative with ways to instill a love of reading in these children.
Ada Ikemefuna
Health Personnel
Fun Fact: I am an adventurer
My name is Ada, and I became part of the A2S family as a university scholar in 2017. I studied Paramedicine at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital and was working as a nurse at a private hospital when I learned about the Health Personnel position within A2S. I joined the staff full time in 2022, and I feel so much joy in this opportunity to collaborate with intelligent teammates and bring about positive change. On a day-to-day basis, I help our After School Academy kids learn healthy habits, educating them on hygiene practices and general wellbeing topics. I provide on-site first aid and medical care and track medical history. I also collaborate with our chefs to ensure our kids have healthy food options and work with the sanitarians to make sure we have a clean and safe environment.
Faith Ikenna-Omorogieva
Entrepreneur Empowerment Program Coordinator
Fun Fact: I once climbed 352 stairs to bungee jump in Johannesburg. Also known as “the life of the party” by my colleagues!
Hey, I’m Faith, and I’ve been involved with A2S since 2020. I’m passionate about providing resources and helping young Nigerian entrepreneurs move their business ideas forward. I enjoy learning new things and collaborating and sharing knowledge with my team. As the Entrepreneur Empowerment Program Coordinator, I help ensure our various events and workshops run smoothly.
I completed my degree at the National Open University of Nigeria with a BS.C in Mass Communication. Working at A2S has given me the opportunity to serve with love and passion towards our kids and the community we serve. My approach to life: adopt a positive outlook, learn from setbacks, and focus on what I can control and accept what I cannot without losing my joy.

Fun Fact: I once wrote two books in the span of three weeks: one is about miracles and one about healing.
My name is Tayo, and I joined A2S as the Communication Coordinator in December 2023. When I first came across the job opening, I was initially skeptical about it. I did some digging on the website and the A2S social media platforms, and was completely captured by what I saw. I realized it takes a person whose heart is sold out to humanity to be able to carry out a vision such as that of Access to Success. At that moment I knew I had to be part of the fast moving train.
I work alongside each of our departments to further inform the world about what we do and why we do it. Communication is what shares the heart of any organization, from forming relationships to sharing the best information in the best way. I write and create content that aligns with the values and voice of the organization. I also train students who have shown interest in media and communication to prepare them for their futures.

Head of After School Academy
Fun Fact: I have a knack for observation and listening, which makes me an excellent confidant.
Hi, I’m Mrs. Elimigbe, and my A2S story began many years ago. After learning about A2S through Gospel Life Bible Church, I served as a teaching volunteer for several years before transitioning to a staff position in 2015. I’m deeply passionate about positively influencing the younger generation, and over the last two decades, I have built a wealth of experiences in education. I’m a lifelong learner, and my commitment to continuous learning has been pivotal in my efforts to stay abreast of the dynamic changes in the educational sector, ensuring that I remain adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of students and the educational community.
I work directly with the children in our After School Academy, guiding them through the initial phases of their life journey. My objective is to empower them to discover their unique voice and pave a dignified path that aligns with their aspirations. We want to be a constructive influence that extends beyond our students’ individual lives, positively impacting the communities of which they are a part.

Fun Fact: I once competed at a live talent show and won the first runner up position with my dance performance.
My name is Progress, and I am an intern at the A2S Entrepreneur Hub. I directly support the entrepreneurs, making sure they have all the things they need to succeed. I take care of the record-keeping while also fostering a collaborative community at the Hub.
I started as an After School Academy kid, where I took part in the Smart Hub computer program. I am a former winner of the A2S Maths Quiz Competition, and I’m using those mathematical and technical skills in my internship.

Early Childhood Coordinator

Hi my name is Obehi, and I began my A2S journey in 2016. I started as a volunteer before becoming a staff member. I graduated from the University of Benin with a B Ed in Health Education. As the Early Childhood Coordinator, I create nurturing and educational environments, support the professional development and growth of the children, and ensure the overall success of our early childhood program. In addition to coordinating educational activities, I am regularly collaborating with parents and teachers and staying abreast of the latest developments in education.
Osamwakue Aisagbonzehi
Events and Facilities Coordinator
Fun Fact: I find it easier to wash a car than to wash one dish.
I am Osas, the Events and Facilities Coordinator at A2S. I was also part of the university scholars program and often volunteered at the After School Academy while I was in college. I joined the staff full-time in 2022. As an Events and Facilities Coordinator, I am dedicated to helping create successful fundraising events and community outreach programs. I am passionate about event planning and making a difference in our community. Also, during lunch hour at the After School Academy, I am responsible for ensuring that the children receive their meal tags, which enable them to grab their lunch at the cafeteria.
My experience in event planning and coordination allows me to bring creativity and attention to detail to every event. I am also skilled in managing our organization’s facilities, ensuring they are maintained and available for events and programs. Whether coordinating department events and workshops, setting up a community outreach event, or managing our organization’s facilities, I am always there to ensure every event succeeds. I am committed to providing exceptional service and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Hey, I’m Jeffery, a current A2S intern and formerly part of the university scholars program. I’m a wiz with computers, and I catch on to things quickly. In my role, I anchor the Let’s Talk Entrepreneurship biweekly sessions, design flyers to promote our programs and tackle other administrative tasks as needed at the Hub.

Hey, I’m Peculiar, and I began my relationship with A2S as a university scholar. I also engaged with A2S at the Basketball and Empowerment Camps and some of the Entrepreneur Empowerment Program activities. Following my graduation, I joined the staff as the Scholarship Coordinator.
I’m an innovative thinker with strong communication skills. I work directly with our scholars to track their academic progress and encourage their involvement in programs that will support their growth. I design programs that help with our scholars’ development and get them ready for life beyond college. I am a big believer in making sure our scholars give back to A2S, so I look for ways to engage them with the organization’s many activities.
Sarah Yemisi Imuzai
Career Guidance and Counseling
Fun Fact: I just love shopping for pretty things! It is like my way of bringing a bit of beauty into my world.
My name is Sarah, and I initially joined the A2S family as the Librarian in 2022, before embracing a new challenge as a Career Guidance Counselor. Joining A2S felt like an invitation to a family that is dedicated to making a difference. A2S is not just an organization; it is a family that shares a commitment to service and making a positive impact. I’m grateful to have an opportunity to do this meaningful work.
When I started as the Librarian, the library was not fully serving the A2S kids. I helped design the library interiors, curated genres of books for the kids, and organized our space to make it an inviting place to be. As the Career Guidance and Counselor, I directly engage with the After School Academy kids and A2S Scholars through one-on-one and group counseling sessions, workforce development workshops, and educational programs. I strive to empower the kids by aligning their aspirations with meaningful career paths and fostering a supportive environment that promotes self-discovery. My efforts are dedicated to guiding our students towards fulfilling purpose-driven careers aligned with the overarching mission of A2S.
Christiana Igbinosa

Fun Fact: I love dancing. Anytime I hear sweet songs that move my Spirit, I will just start dancing.
I’m Christiana, the Chef at the After School Academy who makes sure our students and team are well-fed. I started as a volunteer for several years before getting this opportunity to serve as a full-time staff member. In addition to my strong culinary skills that help me come up with delicious delicacies, I am a strong communicator and have excellent organizational skills. I work diligently with my team to prepare daily, hearty meals that ensure our kids at the Academy don’t have to learn on an empty stomach. Also, if you are fortunate enough to come on one of our vision trips, you will enjoy plenty of meals prepared by our team!

Hi, I’m Sandra, the Human Resources Coordinator. I’ve been involved with A2S for many years, first learning about the organization through my church. I volunteered as a teacher at the After School Academy when it opened and then became one of the first university scholars. I interned at A2S following my graduation before eventually becoming a staff member in 2022.
I regularly collaborate with the Mission Program Coordinator to provide a healthy work environment for our staff members. I promote the A2S FIT (Faith Integrity and Teamwork) culture by XXXXX.
Uche Gift Etumonuwa,
Operations Manager
Fun Fact: I love playing with kids.
2009 was my very first time traveling out of my home of residence in Lagos and at this time it was to see my mentor (Andrew Lovedale) whom I hadn’t seen for the past 4 years. He came with a team called Samaritan’s Feet. They came to Benin to help people with shoes and other essential items.
Fast forward to 2012, A2S was born and in 2013, Access to Success held its first Missions trip and I still remembered Morgan asking me how I would feel if A2S sponsored my University Education? And I replied “ it will be a dream come true.” And that dream truly came true. I was offered a scholarship by A2S to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Benin, making me the first Nigerian University Scholarship student.
During my stay in school, I volunteered to help the foundation during the Vision Trips. This allowed me to bond more with my mentor and his team, increasing my zeal and passion towards helping ministry.
After graduating from the University, I went for my one year compulsory service which I did at A2S. During my internship period, I learnt how to manage my time, use Google Suite tools, communicate effectively, and be proactive. After the end of my Service year, A2S made me an offer to become their office manager, which I gladly accepted.I have grown from being a former scholarship student to presently the Operations Manager where I work with A2S Leadership and Department Heads to ensure the smooth daily operations of the organization.
Thecla Uzukwu,
National Director
Fun Fact: I love singing and dancing!
My name is Sister Thecla, and I’ve been involved with A2S since the beginning. After founder Andrew Lovedale visited Benin City with Samaritan’s Feet in 2009, I learned about his vision for helping kids find a path to success through an after-school program. My passion for helping shape the lives of kids drove me into the mission, and as the years went by, I saw A2S aligning with my calling as a child of God. I volunteered as the Programs Coordinator until 2016 before I moved into the role of the After School Director. As the organization evolved and grew, I eventually became the National Director.
My experience in managing Logos Academy, a school owned by Gospel Life Bible Church, helped me at the early stage of the After School Academy. As a pastor, my passion for people and vulnerability were critical in embracing my role in A2S.
The gift of listening patiently to people, problem-solving and knowing that there is always room for improvement drives me forward each day. As I continue to grow with the organization, I am starting to connect A2S with her community as I develop and nurture relationships.
Fustina Ugiomo Uzukwu
Youth Center Director
Fun Fact: I was once a weight lifter.
I have been actively involved in youth ministry for many years and joined A2S in 2011 as a volunteer. I assumed the role of After School Academy Director in 2018 and am currently serving as the Youth Center Director. In this position, I oversee the daily operations of the Youth Center and ensure that it meets the needs of our community. I am also spearheading the revenue generation component of our programs and bring my skills as a pastor to her work at A2S. I am committed to making a difference in the lives of youth and contributing to the organization’s mission by making sure all of our programs interconnect seamlessly and overseeing the daily needs of the Youth Center.

Jason Sneed
Board Member
Jason is the Founder and Member at Sneed PLLC. He is a member of the North Carolina State, Missouri State, and Kansas State Bar. Jason is also a member of the International Trademark Association since 2005, and was a former Chairman for Charlotte Lawyers Division of Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy from 2006 to 2009. Jason has shown great passion for our mission over the years. Sneed PLLC maintains the trademark for our organization and sponsors a tree in the Giving Village at Christmas in Davidson every year. He was on our Soulful Supper Committee in 2022, and has been a faithful volunteer since 2017. We are thrilled to have him on our board.
Keiran Llaneza
Board Member
Keiran is a Physician Assistant with 17 years of experience, an NC Physician Assistant Association (NCCPA) member and a member of the Covenant Day School Booster Club. Keiran and her husband Frank have been a host family to Ifeanyi Ufochukwu since 2019 along with their five children. She has also been a committee member for A2S’s annual benefit dinner “Soulful Supper”, and has been a dedicated volunteer for the last four years. We are blessed to have Keiran on our board.
Kayode Tadese
Board Member
Reverend Kayode Tadese serves as the Senior Pastor of Abundant Life International Church Commission (ALICC). He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in Nigeria and has also studied at the Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary in Indiana, USA. Reverend Kayode and his family are close friends with Andrew and Molly Lovedale from their time in Cleveland, OH where ALICC was their home church. Reverend Kayode and his wife Tinu have two children, Kristene and Emmanual-David. Reverend Kayode has attended A2S events and supported A2S as a donor for years. Over the years he has become a strong advocate for the mission and vision of A2S. Reverend Kayode brings Christ-centered leadership and a Nigerian perspective to our Board
of Directors. We are so excited to see how his passion for our vision will
push the organization forward.
Rebekah Sosa
Board Member
Rebekah Sosa is a teacher turned Realtor. She has also worked with nonprofits that serve the Latino and underprivileged communities of Lake Norman. She is the daughter of missionaries and spent most of her childhood in Argentina before relocating to the United States. She brings a unique perspective to our operations in a time where we continue to figure out how to bring Nigeria to our very diverse audience in the U.S. either through engagement or trips to Nigeria. Rebekah Sosa met A2S after helping the A2S Board Chairman build his home. Her passions for education and ministry is a reason why she has embraced the mission for A2S. She and her husband, Luis, are members of the FaithFuel Community.

Andrew lives in Buffalo, NY with his wife, Danielle and son, Tony. His wife, Danielle, attended Davidson with Andrew Lovedale. Danielle and Andrew have been huge supporters of A2S since their 10th reunion at Davidson College. Andrew has especially been interested in helping A2S with its finance needs and will be spending his first year on the board working with Mr. Victor Clark and Mrs. Rebecca Clark to understand our financial processes and recommend ways to help improve them.Andrew and Danielle Tussing are both FaithFuel members. On the board, we are hoping that Andrew can help A2S spread the awareness of our work into the Buffalo, NY area. His background in business financial services will help as we work towards reaching our goals for sustainability through revenue generation
and career development.
Jennifer Hazlett
Board Member
Jennifer was born and raised in North Carolina and has been married to Chris Hazlett for 22 years. She graduated from East Carolina University in 1999 where she earned her degree in education. Jennifer’s journey around North Carolina and passion for helping others inspired her leap from teaching into the real estate industry where she currently works with Allen Tate.
Jennifer was a member of the A2S vision trip in 2023 where she witnessed first hand the difference A2S is making everyday in the life of the afterschool Academy kids and the surrounding community! Her enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, education, outreach, and ministry was evident as she interacted with the A2S programs.
She is an active community member who is devoted to family, friends, and church. During her spare time, she enjoys photography, great books, and outdoor adventures, including scuba diving. Chris and Jennifer live in Mooresville with their two amazing children, Mason and Ava.
Andrew Galdi
Board Member
Andy was born and raised in Potomac, MD and in 2016 was married (by Andrew Lovedale) to A2S co-founder Morgan Clark. Andy accompanied the A2S team to Nigeria in the summer of 2017.
A 2008 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, he earned an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford in 2013. Professionally, Andy has spent much of his career in data science as applied to sports. In 2015, he founded the Philadelphia Phillies analytics department, leading software development and data science for 6 seasons. His career began working as a statistical analyst for the NY Mets and at the NBA Commissioner’s Office. After graduate school, Andy worked at Google as a quantitative analyst for YouTube. Andy currently works for Zelus Analytics, a professional sports consulting start-up. Andy and Morgan live in Chapel Hill, NC with their 1-year old son, Archer James, and dog, Hamish.
Joseph Sharp

Mr. Joseph Sharp recently moved from his home in Davidson where he had lived with his wife Pamela Sharp. Pam was technically the first person A2S ever hired on a part-time basis to do basic administrative work. Mr. and Mrs. Sharp got more connected to A2S through Jennifer, A2S U.S. Scholar. They have remained friends and mentors to her during her journey. Mr. Sharp traveled with A2S to Nigeria in 2019 where he got to meet Jennifer’s mother and also serve as one of the judges for our entrepreneur empowerment program pitch competition. They are members of the FaithFuel community and continue to give their time, talents, and treasures to A2S joyfully. Given the direction of A2S during our Season of Promise, Mr. Sharp’s expertise in strategy, planning, and execution will help us as we continue carving out the path for A2S’ future. Mr. Sharp is a sneakerhead who is also a collector of football hats.
