After School Academy Kid Godspower Shares His A2S Story
Godspower, our FaithFuel feature for the month of March, is one of our After School Academy (ASA) kids and is considered to be one of the pioneer kids of the Academy. He is a bright and jovial kid who never tires of learning new things. At 14-years-old, Godspower has a very calm yet playful personality that draws others to him.
As the youngest of six kids, Godspower joined the After School Academy at the age of two along with his older siblings. According to him, he has been greatly impacted by the programs at the afterschool, and he is always eager to be at the academy. Godspower’s mother also shared that he has always been keen about the academy and would rather spend his time doing assignments or learning something new.
In addition to the way the After School Academy has benefitted Godspower, A2S has also contributed to the welfare of the family’s house. His mother added that his father is a civil servant, that she is a trader, and as a family, they usually live according to their pocket. Fortunately, A2S has helped bridge a lot of gaps.
Godspower’s was introduced to ICT at the After School Academy as well as subjects such as media and creative art. He is a key player in the media team and in the Drama Club kids and was recently featured in the just-released movie “Shattered but Unbowed,” a debut made by the ASA kids last year. He considered his experience to be something he would hold on to for a very long time and looks forward to being featured in more productions.
Godspower has a strong connection to ICT, and he considers it to be one of the programs that has impacted him the most. He believes that the knowledge that he gained in his ICT studies has helped him earn high grades in his academics both at the academy and in school.
He looks forward to putting more smiles on the face of his parents, as it has been one of his longest desires to make them happy. In this way, Godspower is unique for his jovial and welcoming spirit, one that allows him to fill any room with so much positivity and to spread it to others.
In addition to his studies and positive demeanor, Godspower loves playing football and he looks forward to continuing to play, but he is focusing his dreams toward becoming an electrical engineer one day. His vision is to invent better ways to generate electrical energy that will be available to people in his community.
Godspower intends to pursue a path in engineering, but he notes that his love for media production will remain and he looks forward to enjoying it as a side passion throughout many years to come.
