For more than a decade, Feetures has walked alongside A2S, investing in Nigerian youth through generous financial giving, in-kind support, hands-on engagement, and a shared commitment to restoring choice and building agency.
This year, we are honored to welcome Feetures back as a Soulful Supper Empower Sponsor, continuing a partnership that has grown from a simple gift of socks into a powerful investment in the future of A2S and the young people we serve.
STEPPING IN WHERE IT MATTERS MOST
Our partnership with Feetures began with socks—and it has grown into so much more.
To date, Feetures has donated more than 100,000 pairs of socks to support A2S programs and communities in Nigeria and has sponsored seven Soulful Supper events. Their generosity has helped us provide young people with quality athletic footwear and apparel, while their continued engagement has strengthened programs designed to equip youth for long-term success.
That support has made a tangible difference across the A2S community.
Feetures has provided socks for our After School Academy scholars, ensuring every child begins the school year with quality, comfortable essentials. They have supported our Basketball & Empowerment Camps, pairing their athletic socks with A2S shoe donations so campers can participate comfortably and confidently in sports and physical activities. They have also contributed socks to internally displaced persons (IDP) communities and other areas of identified need in the community.
But Feetures’ investment extends well beyond what they give. It is reflected in the ways they show up.
INVESTING IN THE NEXT GENERATION
This year, Feetures’ Empower Sponsorship made something truly transformational possible: the complete redesign of our After School Academy curriculum.
Our new SMART curriculum is designed around total student readiness, preparing A2S scholars to compete and thrive in an ever-changing global marketplace. The redesigned curriculum equips students with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and strategic thinking they need to unlock their potential and build a clear, purposeful pathway forward.
This is the kind of investment that reaches far beyond a single school year. By helping strengthen the foundation of our After School Academy, Feetures is helping A2S prepare young people not simply to succeed today, but to navigate an evolving future with greater agency and opportunity.
PARTNERSHIP THAT GOES BEYOND GIVING
Feetures’ commitment to A2S is also deeply personal.
Hugh Gaither, Founder and Chairman of Feetures, serves on the A2S Board of Directors, bringing his leadership, experience, and passion for youth empowerment to our work.
In early 2025, Mr. Gaither traveled to Nigeria as part of an A2S volunteer team, spending time directly with our scholars, entrepreneurs, and communities. During his visit, he led leadership and entrepreneurship workshops, mentored rising entrepreneurs, and supported our Basketball & Empowerment Camps.
His time in Nigeria offered an up-close look at the opportunities and challenges facing the young people we serve—and strengthened an already meaningful partnership.
That experience continues to shape Feetures’ involvement with A2S today.
A VISION FOR WHAT COMES NEXT
Inspired by Mr. Gaither’s experience in Nigeria, Feetures has pledged to support A2S in our largest project to date: the upcoming Opportunity, Wellness & Advancement (OWA) Center.
As we work toward opening the OWA Center, Feetures will help make the vision a reality by covering the cost of the new flooring for the Indoor Sports Hall. This investment will create a safe, state-of-the-art environment where a new generation of A2S youth can play, develop skills, build confidence, and experience the power of community.
It is a fitting next chapter for a partnership that began with something as simple—and important—as helping a child put on a good pair of socks.
From those first donations to today’s investment in curriculum transformation and tomorrow’s OWA Center, Feetures continues to demonstrate what true partnership looks like: long-term investment, walking hand in hand, and creating real, lasting impact.
EMPOWERING FAMILIES THROUGH DIGNIFIED GIVING
Feetures’ generosity also comes to life through the Overly Dignified Giving Center, a resource designed to provide A2S families with an experience centered on dignity, choice, and empowerment.
The center primarily serves our After School Academy students and their families, while also opening periodically to members of the surrounding community. Parents receive “A2S bucks” that allow them to select clothing, shoes, and other essentials for themselves and their children in a retail-style environment.
Among the offerings is a dedicated Feetures shopping area, where children and adults can choose socks in their preferred sizes and colors. For young people who love sports and outdoor activities, Feetures socks are especially popular—providing comfort and quality while reinforcing an important message: every person deserves access to the essentials that allow them to participate fully and confidently in everyday life.
CREATING PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS
For more than a decade, Feetures has continued to invest in the A2S mission. Their support has provided tangible resources, opened doors for young people, strengthened programs, and helped us dream bigger about what is possible.
But perhaps most meaningful is what their partnership represents.
Together, we are restoring choice, building agency, and equipping young leaders for Godly stewardship. We are investing not only in the needs of today, but in the people, programs, and places that will shape generations to come.
